Preliminary Conference Budget — Please attach a document outlining a rough cost breakdown and financing plan. The WTN estimates the licensing fee at around €50,000, which must be included in your budget. Your plan should clearly detail: Estimated Costs: Licensing fee & deposit, venue rental, catering, staffing/administration, technical/AV, translation/interpretation, insurance, accommodation support, travel support/airfare, CO2 compensation, marketing/communications, printing/signage, Trail Journeys, and Film Festival. Funding Strategy: How your organization plans to cover these expenses (e.g., through registration fees, sponsorships, grants, or self-funding/own resources). Financial Viability: How you will ensure financial stability, cover any potential budget shortfalls, and provide evidence of your organization’s financial capacity to host the conference.
