Janneke brings valuable experience in nonprofit networks, international development and hiking-trip design.

She joined European Trails because she believes in high-quality trails, responsible visitor management and addressing challenges such as overtourism. Through her membership, she hopes to learn more about funding opportunities, contribute to future project groups and participate in hands-on trail-building and maintenance activities alongside fellow members.

This is what community power means to us: bringing together people with different perspectives, whether from research, conservation, tourism or simply a deep personal connection to trails and turning their shared commitment into action.
